Trust Me, I Get it, I was once in your shoes which is why I’m now here to help

Back in 2012... I was 21, overweight, in the Army, failing my fitness tests.

I thought my lager and food intake was normal, I blamed my fitness issues on injuries that I felt were outside of my control, I assumed the way I felt was normal.

I was just a 'big lad'.

There wasn't anything I could do about it, it was just part of who I was. I worked hard (but not smart) and partied harder. I certainly had no real concept of health and fitness, just the usual myths that we've all fallen for at some point.

A year later, sick of the impact at work from being too unfit, and constant comments from colleagues like:

'You've got a body like a bag of coleslaw'

I gave it a big push, And dropped 23kg!

I then spent around 7 years following and believing every naff fitness and nutrition myth going! And because I was in a reasonable shape, it kind of (WRONGLY) proved to me that the stuff I followed and 'knew' was right, EVEN WORSE... People came to me for advice, and I really thought I knew what I was talking about, and I loved helping them.

So in 2020 I decided to learn properly, I knew I had a passion for it, and I was desperate to become part of the solution in the fitness industry, not part of the problem…

I've gone on to build a private gym, and also train clients online.

I LOVE IT, it's so rewarding using my real life experience, and passion for becoming the best coach I can be, to help change people's lives, increasing their confidence, helping them move better, perform better, enjoy being active with their kids, and loving how they look.

    I first started seeing Sean around April time this year . I wasn't new to a gym but I was lost . As in I didn't have any kind of routine or alot of knowledge. I suffer from anxiety and have history of eating disorders.

    Sean from the get go made his gym feel like a safe environment. He has given me the structure of a routine that I needed for my mental health . But more importantly the tools to deal with life changes which could disrupt my routine. Which doesn't sound big but for me is massive.

    My overall mental health has improved hugely. My body has equally changed massively. I'm stronger which helps with my menopause symptoms. I understand exercises more clearly and love learning the different forms . I can honestly say my custom plan Sean has worked on for me hasn't bored me in the slightest. Each day I'm getting more and more comfortable in the gym .

    Nutrition learning hell of alot and for the first time in my life I feel the anorexia won't come back .

    The community that Sean creates is welcoming and has a real family feel to it . And not to mention the best bit his receptionist Milo the dog is an absolute heart breaker . Take the leap and trust Sean for your journey. I wish I had sooner .

    It's been one of the best decisions I've ever made to sign up for 1-1 fitness and nutrition coaching with Sean.

    I started out a knackered mum of two little ones, wanting to shift a bit of baby weight and feel better about myself. I didn't expect to fall in love with exercise and build such a positive relationship with myself & a "personal trainer". Sean is more than just a personal trainer, I feel he is a therapist, friend, goal setter and all round genuine great guy that's in your corner wishing you to do well.

    He will change your life for the better and who knows, you may fall in love with exercise like I have! And nutrition! He's never going to tell you to cut stuff out or berate you for your current choices (I still eat chocolate and drink wine!!). But he will give you the steer and guidance necessary to improve choices and life your life the best way possible.

    I'm a better, healthier example for my two boys, and Sean has been a key factor in engineering this change in me. Here's to many more months working together!

    When I met Sean I was confident in my potential when I wanted to start running... But not too confident in getting started.

    Not only did Sean help me understand the mechanics to run comfortably but his ability to make me feel like I belonged in my running shoes and forget about what anyone else may think (which is very little by the way) is incredible. Couldn't recommend him enough

    Couldn't recommend Sean enough. I don't have much problem getting motivation to train, but joining his 6 week challenge helped to improve life around getting stronger. I now keep up daily habits that Sean helped to set. His attention to detail and consistent check ins meant that I couldn't hide away from the goals I set at the start of the 6 week challenge he runs.

    I'd strongly recommend if there's a few things you're looking to adapt in life that'll help you stick to goals you want to achieve

    I've nothing but good things to say about Sean and his process.

    Over the last 12 weeks young Sean has armed me with the tools, knowledge and new habits that I need to keep me on the straight and narrow.

    He's had a lot to put up with, I've been on and off heart meds, I've been at home, I've been travelling for work, my Wife threw herself down the stairs almost removing her left arm in the process so I kind of went off piste for a couple of weeks!

    I haven't achieved my goal of getting to a weight beginning with 15st (sorry, I'm old) but I'm a damn sight closer to it, within 4lbs, than I was 12 weeks ago.

    There's been lots of wins, better habits, more exercise, more awareness but the single biggest win has been that I started tucking my shirts back in a couple of weeks ago!!! I've spent years letting my shirts and T's hang loose or camouflaged my over hang with a fleece or gillet but not anymore.

    Sean, you're a star mate thank you very much for your help, support, advice and most importantly your patience!

    Been working with Sean for 6 months now and he has been brilliant at making subtle changes to diet, nutrition and exercise plans. Due to this I've managed to meet all of the goals I've set with him and implemented changes to my daily routines that are now just part of what I do without thinking about it.

    My gym attendance has increased repeatedly through Sean’s encouragement and holding me to account for going. My running times have continually improved over the months and i have lost weight and increased energy levels. looking forward to seeing what the next few months will bring.

    I have achieved more than I thought possible over the past 6 weeks. This has been a unique, cognitive approach to goal setting and training which has been extraordinary.

    Sean found a way to motivate me through subtle interventions. Geeing me up when he suspected a 07.30 appointment at the gym wasn't top of my priorities (!) Thoughtfully studying my results when he felt I risked overtraining and being a constant technical advisor, nutritionist and psychologist.

    I didn't miss a workout in the program despite my history and a huge amount of that was the time taken to set realistic, achievable and fruitful goals. Il always be grateful and look forward to the next challenge.

    I have working with Sean for just over 4 month and it has been a fantastic time. I initially signed up for the 6 week challenge back in May but I enjoyed so much I decided to say on and join the next ones.

    Sean has been there at every step helping to develop/amend my workout when things haven’t been going right, whether that was due to injury or I felt the exercises were not achieving what I wanted. He helped develop and change the workouts and routine to ensure that I was happy and still progressing.

    He’s incredibly knowledgeable, patient, kind, caring and invested. You don’t cease to exist to Sean when you leave the gym the way you do with most PTs, he’s always there in your pocket like a little cheerleader!

    Checking in, providing encouragement, talking you down when needed and being a constant in the journey of self improvement, he is as invested in your goals as you are and a win for you is also a win for him - always puts a smile on his face!

    The reason why I’ve given 5 stars is because Sean has encouraged and pushed me to achieve my fitness goals to join up for the military!

    I started working with Sean after recovering from an injury and he has always been there 24 hrs for help, advice and encouragement. He has always kept in mind that my injury was holding me back but after i was given the green flag Sean helped me rehabilitate my injury to get me where I am today ready for the military!

    His knowledge and experiences whilst serving in the military himself has definitely helped me improve my fitness!
